Using a new, clean needle is the safest method of preventing HIV transmission if injecting drugs or other substances. Under New York’s needle exchange program, GMHC offers the Expanded Syringe Access Program. Please contact GMHC to receive vouchers to redeem for clean needles at select Duane Reade locations.
