Alan Menken to Accept Howard Ashman Award at GMHC Cabaret
We are thrilled to honor legendary composer Alan Menken with the Howard Ashman Award at the 2024 GMHC Cabaret! Menken will be celebrated by Broadway performers and friends at Joe’s Pub on February 26 for an intimate evening of music from the Ashman-Menken songbook.
Serving Younger Communities: The Latex Ball and Clubhouse GMHC
As 2024 kicks off, GMHC’s Coordinator of Prevention Services Luna Luis Ortiz is feeling new energy. He is busy planning our storied Latex Ball and facilitating Clubhouse GMHC, a weekly drop-in space for youth and young adults. The Clubhouse just relaunched after a hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
AIDS Walk New York Registration Is Open!
Last year, more than 11,000 enthusiastic participants raised over $2.1 million to benefit GMHC’s lifesaving services for people living and affected by HIV and AIDS. GMHC aims to top that number in 2024.
