Throughout the year, GMHC will be hosting a wide variety of fundraising and programmatic events that are available for corporate sponsorship, including AIDS Walk New York, Fashion Forward, Savor, House of Latex Ball, and many others. Sponsorship opportunities for each event feature benefits that meet the complex needs of corporate philanthropy.
GMHC is always happy to tailor sponsorship opportunities to the changing needs of our funders, and we are eager to explore new and innovative ways to partner with businesses in the fight against AIDS. We believe much can be achieved in our work by meaningful collaborations with the business sector.
If your corporation would like to take advantage of one of the sponsorship opportunities described below and explore ways to support the work of GMHC and the fight against AIDS, please contact us to arrange a meeting and a tour of the agency.

|AIDS Walk New York is the world’s largest AIDS fundraising event and in May 2013 we will celebrate the 28th anniversary of AIDS Walk New York. Each year, more than 45,000 people gather in Central Park to raise awareness of HIV and AIDS. About $6 million is raised each year, and an increasing number of corporate partners come together to support the fight against AIDS by sponsoring AIDS Walk New York. Sponsorship of this highly visible and recognizable event provides the corporate community with the opportunity to combine philanthropy with unparalleled marketing opportunities. Benefits include corporate attribution on bus shelters, street banners, posters, point-of-purchase displays, and newspaper and magazine advertisements which are seen by millions of people across the metropolitan area.|
House of Latex Ball
|As part of the Institute for Gay Men’s Health, the House of Latex is a youth outreach initiative that offers sexual health counseling, HIV prevention education, HIV testing, referrals, groups, and volunteer opportunities to GLBTQ youth affiliated with the House and Ball community. Each year the program hosts the House of Latex Ball, a large dance and HIV prevention event attended by over 5,000 New York City youth aged 16–25. August 2013 will mark the 22nd anniversary of the House of Latex Ball. Recent celebrity guests include Janet Jackson, Patricia Fields, Estelle, and Jay Alexander from America’s Next Top Model. The event also attracts major media outlets such as MSNBC and CNN. Sponsorship benefits include corporate signage at the event, gobos at the event, corporate logo on volunteer t-shirts, opportunity for give-away of promotional items, corporate attribution on printed materials, press releases, media access and acknowledgement from the stage during the event.|
