Substance Use Counseling and Education (SUCE) and Additional Support Groups

Substance Use Counseling and Education (SUCE) and Additional Support Groups SUCE offers free and confidential services, such as one-on-one and group counseling to HIV positive and negative gay and bisexual men who use alcohol and drugs. SUCE services offer a supportive environment for individuals to identify goals in order to change their drug use and understand its relationship to their sexual behaviors. SUCE also offers 10-week psycho-educational group, which provides a safe place for participants to explore their drug use and how it relates to their sexual behaviors. SUCE offers Drop-In hours
Take this opportunity to talk to a counselor a get the support you need to make change 3 nights a week: Tuesday* & Thursday Nights 4 pm – 7 pm and Wednesday Night 4 pm – 6 pm. *Un consejero que habla español estara disponible los Martes

Individual Counseling
Short term individual counseling offers an opportunity to identify goals in order to change your drug use and understand its relationship to your sexual activity. (Disponible en Español). For more information, contact Chris at 212.367.1384.

Steps Towards Change (Substance Use/ Harm Reduction) Group (Men Only)
A quarterly discussion group for gay and bisexual men to discuss sexual activity and substance use. This is a non-judgmental space and is open to men at all stages of change around substance use. For more information, contact Chris at 212.367.1384.

Many Men, Many Voices
A weekend retreat for gay and bisexual men of color designed to help participants identify and understand factors that influence behaviors in general as well as negative feelings that can be associated with risk taking behaviors. For upcoming retreats, contact Durell at 212.367.1388.

Black Men's Group/ Soul Food (Open — Men Only)
7 pm – 9 pm Thursdays
A health and wellness program for gay and bisexual men of color. The group alternates between "Sacred Space," Condom Wrap, and a general discussion group. NO REGISTRATION REQUIRED.
