Gay Men's Counseling and Education (GMCE), a program of the Institute
for Gay Men's Health at GMHC, offers sexual health counseling,
workshops, groups, community forums and volunteer opportunities
for gay and bisexual men.
Services Available
Free services in English and Spanish. Everyone is welcome, whether
you are HIV-negative, positive or don't know your status.
Counseling
Drop in and talk to a peer counselor about sexual health issues:
sex, relationships, STI's, HIV status, aging, anal and penile health
- bring it all. Come individually or with your partner without scheduling
an appointment.
Monday through Friday, 4:00 pm 7:00 pm (or by appointment), 8th
floor
Workshops
Acquire information and practical skills to improve your health
and well-being through structured presentations and exercises.
Groups
Our groups provide a space for gay and bisexual men to exchange
experiences on a variety of topics such as HIV disclosure, homophobia,
aging, self-esteem, and more.
Forums
An opportunity to listen and share ideas, opinions, and feelings
on health-related topics that affect you and the community. Future
forums include HPV, genital warts and colon cancer.
