Follow the seasons with Chef Carlin Greenstein. In the fall learn how to prepare recipes with ingredients like pumpkin, cranberries and kale. In the spring enjoy revitalizing foods like golden beets, asparagus and Swiss chard. Since 2002, Carlin has been doing health-supportive cooking demonstrations for the clients of GMHC. Follow the link below for some of Carlin’s latest recipes, along with a section on cooking tips. Carlin has influenced the palates of hundreds through her demonstrations which emphasize how to eat delicious food while taking care of the body.
If you are a client of GMHC and are interested in attending Carlin’s cooking demonstrations, they are held during lunchtime on the third Thursday of every month. They are based upon what seasonal ingredients are available while keeping the healing properties of food and health in mind. For additional information call 212.367.1263 or email nutrition@gmhc.org.
