GMHC is proud to announce a new partnership with glassybaby. glassybaby was founded by a three time cancer survivor who found great hope and healing in the light of a lit, handmade votive. They wanted to spread that hope. To date, glassybaby has donated more than $600,000 from sales to charities dedicated to healing and helping patients with day to day needs during treatment. glassybaby are handmade by Seattle artists in 400+ colors with names like hope, joy, frog hunting, wet dog and hudson. The company recently brought its mission of giving and handmade votives to NYC by opening a store at 555 Hudson Street.
GMHC is honored to receive a portion of sales from one of their best-selling items, the Hudson candleholder (pictured here).
We are also delighted to announce that glassybaby founder Lee Rhodes has been nominated as “Entrepreneur of the Year 2011” by Entrepreneur Magazine. This recognition is a true testament to Lee Rhodes’ compassion and innovative business model.
