New York, NY, May 12, 2008 — Gay Men's Health Crisis (GMHC) and AIDS Walk New York (AWNY) announced today that the New York Stock Exchange will, for the first time, host The Closing Bell in support of the AIDS Walk, an annual event now in its 23rd year. The ceremony on May 16th, two days prior to AIDS Walk New York, will recognize the critical support that AWNY and GMHC receive from the business community. The ceremony also serves to remind corporate America, locally and nationally, that it plays an important role when it comes to combating AIDS. "We are happy to use this ceremony to help recognize NYSE-listed sponsors' important work in this area, and to bring attention to the AIDS Walk, the AIDS crisis, and the critical work of GMHC," said Frank Dix, Business Process Manager, NYSE.

"It's a wonderful New York moment when leading institutions in the public and private sector can stand together as a community. It's an honor to have NYSE Euronext recognize this unique collaboration in this way." said Dr. Marjorie J. Hill, PhD, Chief Executive Officer of GMHC, the world's first AIDS organization and AWNY's primary beneficiary.

"Over the years, many companies have come to realize that HIV/AIDS affects both employees and customers directly and indirectly. Corporate support of AIDS Walk New York is a way of not only acknowledging this reality, but of supporting the passion and determination that their constituents are bringing to battling this disease." said Craig R. Miller, President of MZA Events and both the Founder and Producer of AIDS Walk New York. MZA partners with leading HIV/AIDS organizations around the country, helping to raise millions of dollars in support of critical care and prevention programs.

Dr. Marjorie J. Hill, PhD, Chief Executive Officer of GMHC and Craig R. Miller, Founder and Producer of AIDS Walk New York, will ring The Closing Bell joined by a group of AWNY's top corporate supporters. The following AWNY sponsor companies are confirmed to attend: Bristol-Myers Squibb, Delta Air Lines, Deutsche Bank, Gap, Inc, JP Morgan Chase, Lehman Brothers, Pfizer and PricewaterhouseCoopers. (Additional companies will be added as they are confirmed).
